Description
A wooded picnic area in Wingfoot Lake Park in the late afternoon. It has tables, benches. a grill and a beautiful view of the lake. It is early October, but the trees have not quite begun to change color in N E Ohio.
Wingfoot Lake and the area around the North shore was once an employee recreation area for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. It has been a state park since 2009. In the more distant past it was part of the trails and waterways that native Americans used to travel between the Great Lakes and the Ohio River.
