A view of an oak tree still covered in reddish-brown leaves in late October, illuminated by the setting sun on the right.
This particular tree sits only a few dozen feet from my house and we had a serious concern about it this summer. It had sap running down from a major notch and we were concerned that a huge limb would break off and come crashing down on our roof or fence! Fortunately, the tree service we employ was able to climb and inspect the tree and concluded it had no major issues. After some minor trimming of dead branches, it lives on!
