A dragonfly rests on a lily pad in the bright summer sun, casting a delicate shadow through his wings. This species is a Blue Dasher. Like all dragonflies they are carnivorous and the adults will eat nearly any flying insect. Blue Dashers like to stay motionless and lunge at any prey that comes within range.

Hello and welcome to my imagination! My interest in computers started back in college in the days of punch cards and led me to a career in engineering. My passion for photography started with film cameras and a portrait that earned a blue ribbon at the county fair. Now, after a 42 year career designing machines in the U.S. Midwest, I am putting my artistic side first and trading patents for pixels, ergonomics for aesthetics and practicality for pleasure. Please browse through my work and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
