A great blue heron stands motionless among the lily pads in NE Ohio's Beaver Marsh. With any luck, a hapless fish will swim by soon and become a meal.
Part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Beaver Marsh is on land reclaimed from industry and allowed to return to nature.
