A view along the edge of the American side of Niagara Falls from the American side viewing area. Colorful leaves are visible on Goat Island on the far side of the river on the left. In the distant center you can see the Horseshoe Falls, partly obscured by the ever-present mist. On the right you can see the high-rise hotels built to take advantage of the spectacular views of the Canadian side. The Skylon Tower at the far right is an observation tower and revolving restaurant.
