A bee hard at work pollinating flowers along the Towpath Trail in NE Ohio. The flowers are called Wingstem (Verbesina alternifolia). If you look carefully at the stem near the bottom, of the photo you can see what almost look like fins protruding out from the round part of the stem. That is where the name comes from.
Hello and welcome to my imagination! My interest in computers started back in college in the days of punch cards and led me to a career in engineering. My passion for photography started with film cameras and a portrait that earned a blue ribbon at the county fair. Now, after a 42 year career designing machines in the U.S. Midwest, I am putting my artistic side first and trading patents for pixels, ergonomics for aesthetics and practicality for pleasure. Please browse through my work and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
